Cuffed & Coiffed

History brought to life by Audrey Stuck-Girard

Audrey Stuck-Girard

is a Bostonian actor, historical costumer, and living history interpreter who portrays First Lady Abigail Adams and other figures from Revolutionary America. She collaborates with educators, historical societies, and venues of all sizes to create and perform programs on early American culture and history. In addition to public performance, she showcases her skills in theatrical hair and costume design through Cuffed & Coiffed, a custom historical wig-styling business.

The right hairstyle for your moment in history.

Cuffed & Coiffed is a one-woman small business providing high-quality accurate historical styling for men’s and women’s hair and bespoke wigs. I’m Audrey Stuck-Girard, a living history interpreter with a background in theatrical design, clothing construction, hair dressing, and revolutionary New England. I started this venture with the goal of improving the accuracy of hair and wigs in the Revolutionary War reenactment and public history community, but my wig portfolio has now expanded beyond that time period and genre to include drag and cosplay. Please use the contact form to start a conversation about your new made-to-order wig, or to clean and revive a wig in need of improvements!

Are you looking for a new hairpiece to pair with your historical costume or cosplay?

Do you have a wig already, but it needs to be cleaned, reset, or completely restyled?

Please tell me what you’re looking for, and I’ll work with you to create the perfect hair to complete your ensemble!
