A Note on Pricing
Because each of my wigs is a custom commission, they are priced individually based on factors such as materials cost, style complexity, and how long it ends up taking to complete. The simplest styles start around $225. When you contact me with details about the wig you want, I will be able to give you an estimate range for the final cost.
Custom Wig Design and Dressing
Every Cuffed & Coiffed wig begins with a detailed conversation between the customer and myself. I want to understand not only what style elements to incorporate, but also the context of the historical costume and the way the customer intends to wear the wig. After holding an intake call and receiving a deposit, I search for a high-quality fashion wig in the desired hair color. Then I use a combination of modern and historical hairdressing techniques to trim, texturize, and style the wig into a custom coiffure based on prints and portraits from the period.
